Aesthetics Hawaii is pleased to offer the "Sculptra Butt Lift"

Aesthetics Hawaii is pleased to offer a safe, non-surgical enhancement of the buttocks. The “Sculptra Butt Lift” is for anyone who wants their buttocks to be fuller without the downtime or risks of surgery. Although Sculptra will not give you the same volume of an implant or fat injection (Brazilian Butt Lift), the treatment may be beneficial to those who do not have enough fat or simply don’t want to have surgery. It’s also ideal for people who have cellulite or stretch marks as it will cause collagen stimulation and improve skin texture.

How does it work and what is Sculptra?   Sculptra, or poly-l-lactic acid (PLLA), is an FDA approved injectable that is used for collagen stimulation of the skin and soft tissue augmentation. It stimulates the body’s own natural collagen production to produce skin rejuvenation and volume. Sculptra is injected to the upper buttock with very small needles. Depending on the desired level of augmentation, most patients require 5-10 vials of Sculptra per side. Some patients may require another treatment after 2 months – depending on each person’s desired outcome.

How long does it take and does it hurt?  The procedure itself takes 1 hour. With unparalleled safety, there is minimal discomfort and patients can return to function immediately without any restrictions. The most common side effect is bruising which will not affect treatment and it gradually disappears within 7-10 days for most people. Results can be noticed as early as six weeks after treatments however the desired outcome won’t be noticeable until about six months after treatment. Results typically last 18 to 24 months after injection. (Most patients should usually be between 25 to 55 years old and be near their desired body weight)
